Mulund Metro Pillar Collapse: 1 Dead, 3 Injured
Mumbai — A tragic accident occurred in Mulund after a metro construction pillar reportedly collapsed, leaving one person dead and three others injured, officials confirmed.
The incident took place near an under-construction metro corridor when the concrete structure suddenly gave way, trapping individuals under debris. Emergency services, including fire brigade teams and police, rushed to the spot and launched rescue operations.
According to officials from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), the injured were shifted to a nearby hospital, where one person was declared dead on arrival. The remaining injured are currently undergoing treatment.
