Salman Khan to Invest ₹10,000 Crore in Telangana Project
Hyderabad: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is set to make a massive investment of ₹10,000 crore in Telangana, marking one of the biggest private investments by a film personality in the state.
According to sources, Salman Khan Ventures has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Telangana government to develop an integrated township and a world-class film studio project. The proposed project is expected to spread across hundreds of acres and include residential spaces, entertainment zones, tourism infrastructure, and advanced film production facilities.
State officials say the investment will help position Telangana as a global hub for cinema, OTT content, and creative industries, while also generating thousands of employment opportunities for local youth.
Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy welcomed the proposal and said such investments reflect growing confidence in Telangana’s development-friendly policies. Officials clarified that the project is currently at the MoU and planning stage, with detailed agreements and timelines to be finalized soon.
The move highlights the increasing interest of Bollywood stars in large-scale infrastructure and development projects beyond cinema.
