Ajmer, Rajasthan — The annual Urs of Khwaja Garib Nawaz began on 27th December 2025, drawing devotees from across India and abroad to the Ajmer Sharif Dargah. Marking the anniversary of the Sufi saint Moinuddin Chishti, the event is celebrated with prayers, qawwalis, and community service, reflecting the saint’s teachings of peace, love, and inclusivity.

This year, media outlet Zero News joined the devotees in offering prayers, wishing peace, prosperity, and harmony for everyone. Special arrangements were made to manage the large influx of pilgrims, with strict safety and health protocols in place amid ongoing festivities.

The Urs ceremony featured recitation of the Quran, chadar offerings, and devotional music, continuing the centuries-old tradition of reverence at the Dargah. Devotees expressed their spiritual devotion while also praying for the welfare of the entire nation.

Organizers emphasized that the celebration is open to all, regardless of faith, reinforcing the Sufi message of universal brotherhood and compassion. The event is expected to continue over the next few days, with various religious and cultural programs taking place at the Dargah premises.
